Putting the item together was a colossel pain for two reasons. First, a pre-drilled screw hole was missing in the base unit, so I had to find a drill and the proper sized drill bit to take care of this. Second, the pre-drilled holes in the top unit (where the hooks go), were too small, and the screws could not be screwed in either by hand or using a drill. So I had to get out the drill again and find the proper sized bit for the top screws as well. Then I had to vacuum up all of the mess. In the end, it look OK, though.

Coat Tree
We bought one and after we received it and put it together (rather easily) we hurriedly ordered another. Good sturdy construction, good value for the money, quick shipping, very nice looking, and we are very pleased with the seller. We will probably buy another one or two in the future.

Excellent value, very sturdy, clean look. Have seen lesser tree stands for twice the cost, this one really is a good deal, I'm very happy with it.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture.
I never have enough space for coats and jackets. I take my dogs out 4 times a day to walk/run and I choose the right coat for the temperature outside. I don't want to have to hang up my coat on a hanger coming and going -- it's much too inconvenient.

I have looked at coat trees, but they've appeared to lack the substance I need for the heavy use of cold-weather wear, and some look as if they would tip over easily.

This tree, though, is made of beautiful wood -- that can be touched up with furniture polish if desired. Its style is modern enough to fit with a range of traditional to contemporary tastes. The metal hangers have the appearance of lovely pewter.

The tree comes unassembled and is heavy in the box, but I was able to carry it upstairs and put it together FAIRLY easily. It takes strength to turn the screws (you'll need a good screwdriver) so I paced myself in the assembly. The effort was well worth the results. I heave heavy coats on a total of 8 hooks (2 on each of 4 hooks) and have never tipped the tree.

There are less expensive trees available, but this product was definitely worth the price.
